Halloween might be long gone by now, but that doesn’t mean there’s any shortage of new shows, docs, and films to stream ahead of the holidays on Prime Video. November began with the long-awaited season premiere of a must-watch Prime Video superhero series. But the rest of the month isn’t short on intriguing debuts, either. These include a competition show inspired by a long-running film franchise, a Christmas movie from abroad, and plenty of Thursday Night Football games in between.
You can stream all of the movies and shows for free with your Amazon Prime membership. If you still need an Amazon Prime membership, you can get a 30-day free trial, which lets you watch all the Prime Video content and take advantage of all the Amazon Prime benefits online going into Amazon’s Second Prime Day.

What to Watch on Prime Video: November 2023
Here’s everything we’re watching on Prime Video this month, from anitmated series to live sports.
Invincible: Season Two (Nov. 3)
Apart from a one-off episode this summer, it’s been over two years since the premiere of this animated series based on the comic book created by The Walking Dead’s Robert Kirkman and artists Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley. A superhero tale for grown-ups, Invincible’s second season finds teenaged Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) attempting to come to terms with his new powers and what he’s learned about his father’s secret life. Stream it on Prime Video
Romancero (Nov. 3)
Editor’s picks
If you’re already missing the Halloween season, you might want to check out this new series from Spain, which follows two young people on the run from, per the press release, “demons, witches, and blood drinkers.” Sounds like a rough (and scary) life. Stream it on Prime Video
Dina Hashem: Dark Little Whispers (Nov. 10)
Esteemed stand-up Dina Hashem delivers her first hour-long special with a set touching on her upbringing as an Arab-American, and the travails of being a quiet person. (“We just need more voices raised about it because we can’t do it ourselves.) Stream it on Prime Video
007: Road to a Million (Nov. 10)
Participants in this new reality series have to complete a series of challenges inspired by the James Bond films (though presumably none involve disarming nuclear weapons, like the climax of Octopussy). Pulling the strings is The Controller, played by Brian Cox. Stream it on Prime Video
Trevor Wallace: Pterodactyl (Nov. 14)
Trevor Wallace first broke into the comedy world via Vine and YouTube, where he has millions of followers. With Pterodactyl he attempts to make the transition to the streaming world via stand-up comedy (presumably bringing some of his online fans with him). Stream it on Prime Video
Thursday Night Football (Ongoing)
A new Thursday Night Football game kicks off each week on Prime Video. Next up: The Bengals vs. the Ravens play Nov. 16. Stream it on Prime Video
Maxine’s Baby: The Tyler Perry Story (Nov. 17)
Tyler Perry has been ubiquitous for so long it might be easy to forget he has an origin story. It’s a rough one, too. Working directly with Perry, this documentary by Gelila Bekele and Armani Ortiz attempts to recount it. Stream it on Prime Video
Twin Love (Nov. 17)
Related Stories
In what sounds as much like a science experiment or a lo-fi attempt at creating an alternate universe as a reality show, Twin Love divides 10 sets of identical twins and then observes the results. Chaos ensues (presumably). Stream it on Prime Video
Bye Bye Barry (Nov. 21)
Why did NFL running back Barry Sanders unexpectedly retire in 1999 and board a plane for London? Sanders himself tries to provide the answers with this new documentary exploring the mystery. Stream it on Prime VideoTrending
Elf Me (Nov. 24)
This Italian Christmas comedy stars Pasquale Petrolo as Trip, a misfit elf who befriends a troubled boy. This could be ideal for those looking to add a little zest to the usual rotation of Christmas movies. Stream it on Prime Video
